When the body stops, the mind decides to move

In 2019 my life changed abruptly. A stroke interrupted not only my routine, but my relationship with my body, with movement and with my own limits. Until then, running was a natural part of who I was; after the stroke, learning to walk again became the first big challenge. For a long time I heard more questions than certainties: will I run again? how far will I get? what will be left behind? Rehabilitation was not only physical. It was a deep emotional process, in which I learned to listen to my body with respect, to accept its timing, and to understand that moving forward sometimes means stopping when you need to. This blog starts from that point: from the moment I understood that movement is not always speed, that consistency is worth more than pushing hard, and that every small step has an immense value. My story is not looking for heroism, it is looking for humanity. If you are reading this and today you feel stuck, I want you to know something: moving forward does not always show, but it always counts.
